Yugatech & BlackBerry dare you to BE BOLD

 

    And for my last entry for Yugatech's Dare to be Bold contest,  I have created 6 designs to be worn each day, to be displayed in public, and to be shared to my friends who wanted them. I didn't make a design for the seventh day because it would be my wash day! Haha.  

    This dare aims to introduce the Blackberry Bold 9900  to a lot of people and to let them know about the goodness of this “hell” of  a phone in a very attractive and funny way. Because for me, being BOLD means having the confidence to do things which just come out from people's creativity and imagination, without having any fear, only fun.

Day 1 (MONDAY): We all know that the new Blackberry Bold 9900 has its very slick and thin design that made it so sexy and attractive. Get this Bold, and get TOO SEXY WITH IT.

Day 2 (TUESDAY): Many people have fallen in love with the fast, fluid, and sexy Bold 9900 that made them turn to it. And if I will be fortunate to win, then you could WATCH ME TURN BOLD. :)

IT’S SOMETHING GLOBE

I have tried all other networks for my blackberry before, but the unstable internet connectivity annoys me especially when I’m using the YouTube app. I could barely get a bar of signal at some places even. And that made me switch to Globe. Download and upload speeds are fast and stable most of the time. Globe made it easy for me to upload personal vids on YouTube and download my favorite applications from the App World. Thanks to Globe, I am able to send and receive pin and email messages pretty shortly.

Another important thing I love about Globe is the way how they value their customers. They make sure that we could reach them wherever we are or whenever we need them, by providing official Twitter and Facebook accounts.Customer service representatives are very kind and respond to queries right away. There might be small instances of network glitches, which is normal I think, but they always tend to give responses to such very quickly. NO MUSIC = NO FUN

 

I know all of us can barely imagine living without music. For me music is important as breathing, for they both bring life. What if it’ll be taken away from me?

I won’t  enjoy my bathing session.

I can sing in front of a crowd, and I can say I have performed several times on stage when I was in high school, but it is too far incomparable whenever I sing in the bathroom. I’m a person who really enjoys singing while on a shower, who doesn’t anyways? It sounds better singing inside a bathroom than anywhere else; and I know most of you would agree. In the bathroom, every words and melody of the song are perfectly sung, plus the echo seemed like it was set flawlessly. It always feels like a recording session; or if more imaginative, a performance on a concert hall in front of a big crowd. So without music, I would not enjoy taking shower; and it would be just like: get undressed, wet myself, and then scrub with soap, put a shampoo on my hair, rinse, then done.

I won’t win a girl.

Music has always been part of the culture of our fellow Filipinos. Traditionally, music has been used by men to court women. Nowadays, girls are still in love with boys that have talents at singing, or even just at playing instruments. Not to brag, I am gifted. :D And we know most Filipinos do. Being a normal looking guy, I am very lucky to have this talent. I don’t know why but girls tend to giggle every time I start singing, and of course it feels so good for me. So without music, it would be a little hard for me to flirt with girls.

No music means no Pinoy celebrations.

Nothing compares to Filipino celebrations. From every birthday parties, anniversaries, getaways, despedidas , and fiestas, to Christmas parties and New Year’s celebrations, there will always be a videoke. Aside from the delicious food, the videoke is what I am always looking forward as part of every celebration. It keeps the party alive, and no one cares if you sing good or not. And with videoke, you could differentiate a person’s voice and style of singing before and after being drunk. Without music, there’ll be no videokes. So what the hell will be my purpose of attending celebrations? Yeah, it would just like be, the food.

Overall, it would be a big disaster without music in my lifes, especially for me being a Filipino. And the only thing I’ll love if there’ll be no music: there’ll be no Justin Beiber too.

Music within You

Music is so important that we have almost depended on it. From the day we were born until the day of death, music comes within us.

 

 

Music had always been around you even before the time you were conceived. You probably didn’t realize how you loved hearing your mother’s cradlesongs to put you into a soundly sleep, and the way she lifted you up and chanted for you each time she heard you cried. Without knowing, you had depended on this thing.

A Lullaby.

 

 

The music which you were proud to sing to your mother. And it was certainly not enough without you performing each hand gesture. This was when you sang along with these recorded melodies without thinking how you sounded like, just as long as your teacher should’ve heard you singing. It is also when your voice really sounded like an angel.

The nursery rhymes.

 

 

The music you kept on playing after learning this little thing called love. Each time you heard this song, it reminded you of your special one. It has had been your favorite song played to your ears. Every words of the song seemed like it was written for you, for your heartbeats tuned harmoniously with its melody. You didn’t dare singing it in front of a crowd, like you’ve always did when you were a child.

The music, a wonderful music, that united you and your dearest love. It was played on the day of your happiest life, when both of you walked in front of the altar, exchanged your vows, and promised that you’ll live together, forever. With the ring in each other’s finger, this music symbolized the unity of two hearts that’ll remain for the rest of your lives.

At the end of every day, you came up with this one true purpose of music. Through this music, you gave Him praises for He is good, begged His forgiveness for what you have done wrong, and finally thanked Him for a wonderful life He has given.
